In March the team travelled to Bajawa on the island of Flores to conduct a screening and operating program jointly funded by the Flores Village Project and Direct Aid Program of the Australian Consulate-General Makassar. The team screened 2,028 village people including 531 primary school children and distributed glasses to 1,097 adults and children. 82 blind people had their sight restored with cataract operations by Dr Endro Pranoto SpM and Dr Jusni Sarign SpM.
