During November and December the JFF team made four off-shore trips – two screening and operating trips to South Kalimantan, one to Ambon in the Moluccas, and a surgical trip to Banyuwangi, East Java.
As a result of these four offshore activities a total of 5,115 village people were screened for eye problems, 3,568 were issued with glasses, 1,855 received eye drops for infections and 235 received sight-restoring operations.
