The John Fawcett Foundation is delighted to congratulate Professor Bill Morgan, Chairman of the John Fawcett Foundation Australia (JFFA), on being appointed an Officer of the Order of Australia (AO) in the King’s Birthday Honours.

This prestigious recognition acknowledges Prof. Morgan’s distinguished service to ophthalmology, medical education, research, and community health over a career spanning more than three decades. Through his work in Australia and internationally, he has helped advance eye health, train future generations of medical professionals, and improve the lives of countless people.

For many years, Prof. Morgan has also been a passionate supporter of eye care initiatives in Indonesia through the John Fawcett Foundation. His expertise, leadership, and commitment have contributed significantly to the Foundation’s mission of restoring sight and improving lives.
