Bagaimana jika, dalam satu hari, kekuatan untuk melihat diberikan kembali kepada mereka yang telah kehilangannya? Pada bulan September dan Oktober ini, Program Mata Desa JFF di Bali menjangkau 27 desa, melakukan skrining terhadap 5.349 orang, dan membantu 73 orang untuk dapat melihat kembali melalui operasi katarak. Dalam dua bulan, 3.167 orang menerima kacamata, dan 1.639 orang diberikan obat tetes mata yang penting, memberikan bantuan, kenyamanan, dan rasa normal yang sangat mereka butuhkan. Tim kami terus meletakkan dasar bagi Bali di mana kesehatan mata dapat dijangkau, bukan hak istimewa bagi segelintir orang.<\/p>\n

Bagi mereka yang kehilangan mata, perjalanan untuk mendapatkan kembali kepercayaan diri bisa menjadi tantangan. Selama bulan September dan Oktober, JFF telah memasang 28 mata palsu yang dibuat khusus untuk pasien, dirancang agar terlihat alami dan membantu mereka hidup tanpa stigma sosial. Meskipun mata palsu ini tidak mengembalikan penglihatan, mereka memainkan peran penting dalam meningkatkan kualitas hidup bagi mereka yang terkena dampak.
