Dengan hati yang berat, kami mengabarkan kepada Anda tentang berpulangnya Win Jones pada Kamis, 23 Oktober 2025. Win bukan hanya seorang anggota dewan. Ia adalah salah satu pendukung setia Yayasan ini, yang telah mengabdikan hampir tiga dekade hidupnya untuk misi kami dalam memulihkan penglihatan dan mengubah hidup orang-orang.<\/span><\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

Warisan Pelayanan<\/b><\/p>\n

Keterlibatan Win dalam pekerjaan kami dimulai 37 tahun yang lalu ketika, sebagai anggota Dalkeith Rotary Club, ia mengetahui tentang proyek Bali Eye yang masih dalam tahap awal dari West Perth Rotary Club. Apa yang awalnya hanya perkenalan menjadi komitmen seumur hidup. Win menjabat di Dewan JFFA selama hampir 30 tahun, termasuk lima tahun sebagai Ketua, memimpin Yayasan melalui tahun-tahun kritis pertumbuhan dan pengembangan.<\/span><\/p>\n

Dedikasi luar biasa beliau diakui ketika beliau dianugerahi Medali Order of Australia (OAM) atas kontribusinya bersama Yayasan tersebut. Penghargaan ini menjadi bukti nyata dampak yang mendalam dari pelayanannya.<\/span><\/p>\n

Jembatan Antara Dua Komunitas<\/b><\/p>\n

Cinta Win terhadap Bali melampaui tugas-tugasnya sebagai anggota dewan. Selama lebih dari 30 tahun, ia dan istrinya Margaret sering berkunjung ke Bali, menginap di hotel yang sama, dan menjadi bagian tak terpisahkan dari komunitas lokal. Bagi banyak orang Bali, baik staf kami maupun komunitas yang lebih luas, Win adalah bagian dari keluarga.<\/span><\/p>\n

Kasih sayangnya tak terhingga. Setelah ledakan bom tragis di Bali, Win berperan penting dalam menampung dan memfasilitasi perawatan bagi korban yang datang ke Perth untuk pengobatan. Ia tidak hanya membuka pintu, tetapi juga hati mereka di saat-saat tergelap mereka.<\/span><\/p>\n

Hubungan Win dengan Dalkeith Bowling Club, di mana ia merupakan anggota aktif, juga memberikan manfaat bagi Yayasan kami selama bertahun-tahun, karena klub tersebut dengan murah hati menjadi tuan rumah rapat umum tahunan (AGM) kami.<\/span><\/p>\n

Mengingat Kemenangan<\/b><\/p>\n

Kami yang beruntung dapat bekerja bersama Win mengenalnya sebagai sosok yang memiliki kekuatan yang tenang, komitmen yang tak tergoyahkan, dan kehangatan yang tulus. Kehilangannya akan dirasakan secara mendalam oleh semua orang yang hidupnya ia sentuh, mulai dari dewan direksi dan staf kami hingga ribuan individu di Indonesia yang telah mendapatkan kembali penglihatan mereka melalui pekerjaan yang ia bantu bangun.<\/span><\/p>\n

Doa dan ucapan belasungkawa yang paling dalam kami sampaikan kepada istri tercintanya Margaret, keluarganya, dan keluarga Bali yang lebih luas yang akan sangat merindukannya.<\/span><\/p>\n

Warisan Win Jones terus hidup dalam setiap pasien yang kami rawat, setiap kehidupan yang kami ubah, dan setiap komunitas yang kami layani. Kami menghormati kenangannya dengan melanjutkan pekerjaan yang sangat ia cintai.<\/span><\/p>\n
