This program costs $2,500 for a two- day activity that includes checking the eyes of up to 500 village people, giving glasses for those who need them, distributing eye drops to treat minor infections, as well as cataract surgery for up to 10 blind people in our mobile eye clinic that travels to the village with the team.
This is a popular program with donors, some of whom come to Bali to participate in the village program they have paid for, even selecting the village and the dates.
So far this year we have conducted programs in 101 villages supported by 56 donors, where 25,079 villagers have had their eyes checked and our teams have performed 752 sight-restoring cataract operations.
If you or a group of friends is interested in adopting a village mobile eye clinic activity, contact us at yki@indo.net.id. Programs over a longer period are also available.
