Six children with cleft problems were operated in January and February – 3 with palate fistulas and 3 with cleft lips. The children ranged in aged from 3 months to 7 years and the operations were performed by Dr Ketut Anom Ratmaya in the Puri Raharja Hospital, Denpasar with volunteers from the Bali Anaesthetists Association.
