Covid-19 Situation For JFF In Bali

Restrictions imposed in Indonesia due to COVID-19 have meant a suspension of our usual eye screening and cataract surgery programs.

In the meantime, ensuring that strict social distancing rules are followed, we are keeping the Foundation running with a daily roster of management and administrative staff to handle enquiries, contact with donors and government departments.

Ongoing maintenance of our equipment is the task of our medical technicians, and our project team members attend in small groups to undertake tasks such as assembling glasses for our screening sessions when they resume.

International Coordinator, Penny Lane, continues with her remote work under lockdown in Australia, and the JFFA Board members are also actively working behind the scenes.
