We conducted two offshore programs in July and August – to Nagreg, West Java (in cooperation with Indonesian Air Force’s community health day) and to Sumba, Nusa Tenggara Timur (a cooperative program with Komunitas Kasih Cinta).
In these two programs our team screened 3,319 adults with eye problems and checked the eyes of 1,174 school children, distributed 3,117 pairs of glasses and treated 880 for infections. 236 people had their sight restored with a cataract operation.
