In April, we conducted a four-day program in Jember, East Java, supported by a group from Reliable Education and the UK-based Four Acre Trust. In this sprogram the team screened 1,281 people, distributed glasses to 736 and eye drops to 220, while 175 cataract-blind people received a sight-restoring operation. Eighteen people received an artificial eye, made and fitted on location.
