The fame of JFF’s ocular prosthetics work has spread far and wide, even as far as the uk. JFF’s ocular technician, Wayan Wijaya, makes excellent quality prosthetics according to international standards, despite working with meager resources.
Samantha mizzi, an ocularist from moorfelds Eye Hospital in london, visited JFF’s Sanur office last year and worked with Wayan.
Samantha was so impressed that, when she returned to london, she raised £5,000 to buy a new up-to- date equipment for Wayan to use and to upgrade his laboratory.
