Sight Restoration Achievements: January & February

In this two-month period 32 screening days were held, during which a total of 6,829 village people with eye problems on Bali and other islands were checked. Our teams also checked the eyesight of 688 children in local village primary schools. They issued 4,998 pairs of glasses, including 11 to primary school children, and treated 2,269 people with eye drops. A total of 393 cataract-blind people had their sight restored in our mobile eye clinics and outreach clinics.
