In June Dr deSousa gave a lecture on a specific area of oculoplastics (orbit and eyelid surgery) at the University of Udayana in Denpasar that was well attended by the ophthalmologists and the registrars.
He also performed two demonstration surgical cases, and the ophthalmologists were all very keen to see these very specialised surgical techniques.
The visit was very valuable for the local ophthalmologists and for the patients, and we thank Dr Jean-Louis deSousa for coming to Bali to share his knowledge with our local ophthalmologists.
