Two offshore programs in East Java were conducted in this two-month period, screening a total of 3,223 people with eye problems, giving glasses to 1,454, treating 699 for eye infections and operating 399 who were cataract-blind. Twenty-four people were fitted with prosthetic eyes during these offshore programs.
