Children’s Cataract Surgery

Children with cataracts cannot be operated in the mobile eye clinic as they need a general anaesthetic,
and have to be brought to Denpasar where the Foundation organises a hospital-based operation session for them. So far this year we have operated six children with cataracts (three blind in both eyes) in four operating sessions.
